Here are my recent Brides wearing their Exclusively Designed and Handmade Wedding Dresses.
Gorgeous bride Tina with her husband at their wedding in August 2009.
Tina is wearing her silk couture dress designed by Kerry Steeden Couture.

Tina's dress was made mainly in Thai Silk, with a crushed Silk Organza at the front underlayer. It had a train which could be bustled for the evening. In the right hand picture the train is being held up by a loop which is over Tina's wrist.

The rushed detail on the train is finished with Swarovski crystals and although you can't see it in the picture gave a subtle sparkle as they caught the light. The back of the dress fastens with hand made loops and fabric covered buttons.

Handmade silk fabric roses and handmade arum lilies from the crushed silk organza finished the front of the dress.
Below, Kim with husband Paul, looking stunning in her silk bespoke dress at their wedding in
July 2009
Dress designed by Kerry Steeden Couture.

Kim's bespoke wedding dress is actualy a two piece made with Silk Regal Dupion fabric in colour Black/Red. The bodice has a centre panel at the front and back in Ivory colour embroidered Silk Organza. I then hand embroidered every flower on to the fabric. The centre of each flower was finished with a tiny Swarovski crystal in colour Garnet which matched the Black/Red silk perfectly.

The bodice was laced up at the back with loops and cord which were made in Ivory Silk.
The seperate skirt is style "Ruby" from my collection. It has pleating detail at the front and centre back. A well placed hook and eye ensured the skirt could be bustled for the evening to take the train off the ground for some serious dancing!

Kim's husband Paul and their cheeky faced little boy Ethan matched perfectly in cravats made from the same fabric.
Thankyou Kim and Paul for sending me these pictures.
Silk Regal Dupion fabric is available in ninety amazing colours. "Ruby" skirt is available in other fabrics. I have two hundred and fifty fabric samples to choose from!
Below is Jan with husband Paul looking beautiful in her couture dress, and handcrafted accessories at their wedding in May 2009.
Dress designed by Kerry Steeden Couture.

Jan's dress is a full length, fishtail dress with empire line under bust. The fabric is satin with a chiffon overlay. The bodice and skirt were decorated with motifs which I cut from a piece of embroidered and beaded tulle. These were then handstitched to the chiffon.

On the bodice of Jan's Dress I stitched a few Swarovski crystals in colour Olivine, which matched the dress of Jan's stunning daughter. The look was completed with a hair comb from my collection (CB153) and also a necklace from my collection. Olivine crystals were incorporated into the jewellery.
A big thank you to Colin Aldous Photography for allowing me to use these beautiful images. Colin was the photographer on Jan and Pauls's big day. If you would like to see more of Colin's work please click on the link below:
